Reading Inspiration Day Celebrated at J. D. C. Bytco High School
Nashik Road 15, October 2024: JDC Bytco English Medium High School, under the Gokhale Education Society, celebrated "Reading Inspiration Day" on October 15th to mark the birth anniversary of former President of India and Bharat Ratna, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. The event, held with enthusiasm, aimed to inspire a love for reading among students.

The program commenced with the worship of Dr. Kalam’s portrait, led by Principal Mr. Daval Nandan and senior teacher Mr. Lanu Ghuge. School librarian Mrs. Deepali Rasal introduced the students to the inspiring life and achievements of Dr. Kalam, setting the tone for the day's activities.

Students participated in a reading session where they explored a diverse selection of books in English, Marathi, and Hindi, including adventure stories, science fiction, historical accounts, biographies, and poetry. They were encouraged to share their reading experiences, briefly expressing their thoughts on the books they had read.

As part of the event, students Anshuman Bhole, Jatin Badgujar, and Aditya Porje were recognized as "Excellent Readers" and were honored by the Principal. In his address, Mr. Daval Nandan emphasized Dr. Kalam's philosophy of "simple living and high thinking," encouraging students to make the most of the school library for their personal growth.

Mr. Ajay Patil introduced and moderated the event, while Mrs. Rohini Batwal delivered the vote of thanks. The program was skillfully organized by Mrs. Deepali Rasal, contributing to its success.
