J.D.C. Bytco School Celebrates Air Force Day
Nashik Road, 8 October 2024: With great enthusiasm and pride, NCC Air Force cadets at Gokhale Education Society's J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School celebrated Indian Air Force Day. In honor of the 92nd Anniversary of the Indian Air Force, which defends India's skies, the cadets saluted the brave airmen and paid tribute to their service.
To mark the occasion, a competition was organized where students created replicas of various fighter jets, cargo planes, as well as the Air Force, NCC, and Indian National Flags. The exhibition of these meticulously crafted replicas drew admiration from all attendees.
The celebration commenced with a spirited shout by Cadet Vedika Bachhao. Principal Shri Daval Nandan was welcomed as the chief guest, and students Danish Syed, Naitik Kagda, Kavya Mali, Varsha Pandit, and Purva Bhangre took turns introducing the illustrious history and achievements of the Indian Air Force.
Special recognition was given to students Atharva Gotis and Kushal Shinde for their outstanding work in the replica competition. They were awarded by Principal Nandan for creating the best aircraft and flags.
Mr. Daval Nandan commended the cadets for their excellent presentation of Air Force Day celebrations and offered guidance on future opportunities. He praised the cadets for their dedication and the thoughtful activities conducted on this special occasion.
The event concluded with a patriotic song by the NCC cadets. The entire celebration was planned and executed under the leadership of NCC Officer Mr. Devendra Hatakhambakar. The event was moderated by Cadet Jatin Badgujar and Sonal Shelar, while Aarushi Nikam delivered the vote of thanks.
