Nashik Road, March 8, 2025 – J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School celebrated International Women's Day with great enthusiasm, highlighting the significance of women’s empowerment and their contributions to society. The event was meticulously organized by the students of Class 8A and 8B, under the guidance of their class teachers, Mr. A.R. Patil and Mrs. Bhakti Kulkarni.
The celebration was graced by Miss Pradnya Kulkarni from Jawahar as the Chief Guest, who addressed the students and praised their efforts in organizing such a meaningful program. The event commenced with an engaging anchoring session by Lanavya Sonawane and Aakanksha Sanap, setting the stage for a series of performances that left the audience inspired.
A Historical Influencing Character Display was one of the highlights of the program, where the girls of 8A and 8B beautifully enacted the lives of influential women, paying tribute to their struggles and achievements. Additionally, dance performances and a drama showcased the immense talent and creativity of the students, making the event both entertaining and educational.
Adding to the program’s significance, inspiring speeches were delivered by Mr. A.R. Patil and Mrs. Rasal, emphasizing the role of women in shaping society. The school supervisor, Mr. Tribhuvan, also addressed the gathering, appreciating the school’s initiative in imparting strong values to students through such celebrations. The school Principal Mr D.R.Nandan sir addressed the students and has given the best wishes to all women.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Aditya Porge from 9A, expressing gratitude towards the Chief Guest, teachers, and all participants.
