Nashik, 23rd December 2024: J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School witnessed the momentous inauguration of its Functional English Club (FEC) today. The program, held on December 23rd, 2024, aimed to empower students with effective communication skills in English, a crucial tool for success in academics and beyond.
The esteemed Dr. Anjali Kulkarni, the Chief Guest, graced the occasion with her presence and officially inaugurated the club. Mr. Vinod Deshpande, Coordinator of the Central Coordination Committee, and Mr. Pravin Mule, Superintendent of Gokhale Education Society Nashik Road Zone, served as Guests of Honour, lending their support to this significant initiative.
The school's Principal, Mr. Dilip Udmale, and Supervisor, Mr. D.R. Nandan, along with the entire faculty, were present to celebrate the launch. Mrs. Madhavi Borse was chosen as the President of the FEC, while School Captain Miss. Mukta Karankar extended her support to the club's activities.
Adding a touch of excitement, the FEC was divided into six vibrant groups: FEC Tigers, FEC Lions, FEC Leopards, FEC Panthers, FEC Cubs, and FEC Jaguars. These groups promise to foster healthy competition and camaraderie as students embark on their journey to improve their English communication skills.
The program highlighted the importance of clear, confident, and effective communication in English. Dr. Kulkarni, in her inaugural address, emphasized the role of the FEC in equipping students with the necessary tools to excel in their academic pursuits and future careers. Mr. Deshpande and Mr. Mule echoed her sentiments, expressing their confidence that the club would be a valuable platform for students to develop their communication skills and gain valuable life skills.
