Aashadi Ekadashi Celebrated with Devotion at J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School
J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School, known for its commitment to quality education with a strong emphasis on spiritual and cultural values, celebrated Aashadi Ekadashi with great enthusiasm today. The festival, dedicated to Lord Vitthal and Rukmini, transformed the school into a divine abode as students and teachers participated in a vibrant procession and devotional program.
The celebrations began with a grand Vitthal Procession, led by Headmaster Mr. Nandan Sir and Supervisor Mr. Tribhuvan Sir. The procession started from the school gate and proceeded till the garden, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The entire school resonated with chants of "Panduranga Vitthal, Dnyanadev Tukaram" as young devotees, dressed as Lord Vitthal and Rukmini, walked with devotion.
Students of 5th Standard (Divisions A, B, and C) actively participated under the guidance of their class teachers—Mrs. Rohini Batwal, Mrs. Yogita Mojad, and Mrs. Karuna Daive. Mrs. Batwal skillfully anchored the program, ensuring smooth proceedings.
After the procession, students and teachers gathered in the Assembly Hall for a formal program. The event included soulful bhajans (devotional songs) and inspiring speeches by students, who expressed the significance of Aashadi Ekadashi in Maharashtra's cultural and spiritual heritage. The little devotees, immersed in devotion, filled the school with joy and reverence.
Headmaster Mr. Nandan Sir praised the efforts of students and teachers, stating, "Such celebrations strengthen our cultural roots and instill moral values in young minds. At J.D.C. Bytco, we believe in nurturing not just academic excellence but also spiritual growth."
The event concluded on a blissful note, leaving everyone with a sense of divine connection and cultural pride. Indeed, J.D.C. Bytco continues to stand out as an institution where modern education harmoniously blends with timeless traditions.
