J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School Celebrates National Science Day with Enthusiasm and Innovation
Nashik, February 28, 2025 – J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School celebrated National Science Day on February 28 with great fervor, showcasing the creativity and scientific spirit of its students. The event, organized by the Science Department under the leadership of HOD Mrs. Kunde and supported by all science teachers, featured a variety of engaging activities, including speeches, skits, a quiz competition, and a science exhibition. The celebration culminated in a prize distribution ceremony graced by the Rotary Club of Nashik Airport.

The event was anchored by Aditya Porje and Sonal Shelar, who skillfully guided the audience through the day’s activities. A total of 14 students participated by portraying renowned scientists and inventors, while 54 innovative models were displayed in the science exhibition by students from grades 5 to 9.

The quiz competition, conducted by Mrs. Rohini Batwal and Mrs. Karuna Daive, tested the students’ scientific knowledge and critical thinking skills. Other activities included a short skit, a poster-making competition, and a rally, all of which highlighted the students’ enthusiasm for science and innovation.

The celebration concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winning teams were honored by District Governor Rotarian Rajinder Khurana and his team from the Rotary Club of Nashik Airport. The Rotary Club also announced its support for the school’s Functional English Club, an initiative aimed at enhancing English-speaking skills among students. The club’s generous gesture was warmly appreciated by the school principal, Mr. D.R. Nandan, who expressed his gratitude for their continuous motivation and support.
