Teachers' Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School

Nashik, 5th September 2024 – J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm, as students from classes 10 A and B took over the reins of the school administration for the day. Embracing the roles of teachers and staff members, the students got a unique, hands-on experience of what it's like to be in charge of a classroom.

Soham Kandekar portrayed the role of the Headmaster, while Lavanya Shilawat took on the responsibility of Supervisor. Abu Malik and Mangal Bhave managed the duties of the school's peons, Dinesh Sonawane played the role of Librarian, and Rohit Pandit stepped into the shoes of the PT teacher. These student-teachers taught classes from 5th to 9th, gaining valuable insights into the challenges and rewards of teaching.

Following four engaging periods, a special Teachers' Day celebration was organized. The event was presided over by the Principal, Mr. D.R. Nandan, with Miss Seema Bhargave, a retired school teacher, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. Former school principal Mr. Dilip Udmale attended as the Guest of Honour. Both guests addressed the students, sharing their wisdom and experiences, while encouraging them to appreciate the role of teachers in shaping their futures.

Faculty members Mr. A.R. Patil and Mrs. Rohini Batwal also delivered heartfelt speeches, emphasizing the importance of teachers in society. Some of the student-teachers shared their personal experiences from the day, reflecting on the challenges and joy of teaching.
