"One Student, One Tree" Initiative by JDC Bitco Cadets
Nashik Road, July 3 - JDC Bitco English Medium High School, under the aegis of Gokhale Education Society, successfully implemented the "One Student, One Tree" initiative on Wednesday. The program, aligned with the Maharashtra government's environmental conservation efforts, aimed to instill a sense of environmental responsibility among students.

The event commenced with the school principal, Mr. Daval Nandan, planting a tree, followed by NCC cadets and students planting saplings and pledging to nurture them. A variety of plant species, including pimpal, wad, amla, tamarind, mango, and jambhul, were planted on the school premises.

Mr. Daval Nandan emphasized the significance of the "One student, one tree" concept, encouraging students to plant and preserve trees in and around the school and their homes. The program was orchestrated by NCC Officer Mr. Devendra Hatkhambar, Sports Teacher Mr. Lannu Ghuge, and Mr. Atul Patil, with Mr. Vilas Bangar, Mr. Ajay Patil, and Mr. Amol Sathe in attendance.

This initiative aims to foster a culture of environmental stewardship among the students, promoting a greener and sustainable future.
