Nashik Road: Students of JDC Bitco English Medium High School, under the aegis of Gokhale Education Society, have taken up the challenge to spread awareness about the dangers of addiction. The NCC Air Force cadets of the school joined forces with the Narcotics Control Bureau's awareness campaign, pledging to say "yes to life and no to addiction".
Fifty student soldiers, led by NCC officer Mr. Devendra Hatkhambakar, took the oath and encouraged their peers to do the same. The campaign included a Prabhatferi procession from the school to Datta Mandir Chowk, urging people to stay away from addictions. The school also organized various competitions, such as painting, slogan writing, and essay writing, to engage students in the cause.
The school principal, Mr. Daval Nandan, felicitated the students who excelled in these competitions and emphasized the importance of a healthy and addiction-free life. The NCC department of the Air Force in the school coordinated all the activities.
This initiative aims to create awareness among students, parents, and society about the risks of addiction and promote a healthy lifestyle.
