JDC Introduces FEC

JDC: 23rd December 2023.

JDC Bytco English Medium High School has introduced a novel activity “Functional English Club” to Create students’ interest in English Communication Skills in the School. The Club was inaugurated by the hands of Dr. Anjali Kulkarni Madam, Chairperson of Central Coordination Committee and Coordinator Mr. Vinod Deshpande Sir. On this occasion Mr. Pravin Mulay Sir, Superintendent of Gokhale Education Society, Nashik zone was present. Chief Guest Dr.Anjali Kulkarni Madam dragged students attention on Importance of English Communication Skill in today's Life.

When the school Principal Mr.Dilip Udmale Sir found that maximum students are very good in academics but they are reluctant to use English for daily Communication, then he made up his mind to do something to create their interests in English communication. First the school has detected at least 10 brilliant students from every division and they were given different identities in the school issuing them Club Badges to put on their Chest. Out of 1000 of the School students, nearly 100 students came forward and became the Club Members. Behind this idea there was a strategy that With the help of these Clever FEC Students FEC wants to influence on others students. The Club has Six Groups and in each group there are Group Leaders & Assistant Group Leaders. The FEC Groups have been given very interesting Names Such as i.e. FEC Lions, FEC Panthers, FEC Cubs, FEC Leopards, FEC Jaguars, FEC Tigers. By this unique formulation of the Club many students are influenced and standing in queue to join the Club. The school is getting tremendous response from the students as they're feeling it's an interesting activity than usual. All the Teachers are enjoying this new atmosphere. The school Principal has given the honor to Mrs. Madhavi Borse to be the first School President of the Club. He has selected Miss. Mukta Karankar from 8A as a Student FEC President, Master. Aditya Porge & Mayuri Kedare from 8A have got the honor to be the Vice President of FEC.

Dr.Anjli Kulkarni Madam and Mr. Vinod Deshpande Sir have appreciated the school's efforts for such innovative steps by the Principal of the school. They have expected a desired change and given blessings to the students for their bright future.

The school Supervisor Mr. Nandan Sir has assured the Dignitaries that he himself & the school staff will take special efforts to achieve our goals.

The program was compered by Mrs. Bhakti Kulkarni with her charming voice. The program ended with the National Anthem.
