Nashik Road, June 21, 2024: J.D.C. Bytco English Medium High School observed International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal today. The event saw the participation of all students from 5th to 10th standard, who gathered to learn and practice the ancient art of yoga.
Headmaster Mr. D.R. Nandan Sir addressed the students, emphasizing the significance of yoga in daily life. Miss Manasi Sagar provided insights into the history and importance of Yoga Day, while Mrs. Karuna Daive expertly anchored the program.
Teachers demonstrated various yoga activities on the ground, and students, equipped with yoga mats, eagerly followed suit. NCC cadets led the students in performing yoga, and PT Teachers, Mr. Atul Patil and Mr. Ghuge, ensured proper arrangements and guidance. NCC Surgeant Master Soham Kandekar, Korpal Master Aditya Porje, Miss Sreya Jawale, and Master Deepak Chettiyar instructed the yoga activities.
The Headmaster highlighted the benefits of yoga for physical and mental well-being, and the NCC Officer Mr. Hatkhambkar Sir played a crucial role in planning the celebration. The school received an overwhelming response from students, making the event a resounding success.
The celebration aimed to instill a sense of discipline, focus, and wellness among the students, and judging by their enthusiasm, it was a mission accomplished.
